Hi! This is another advertising video creative for the mobile game "5 Differences Online." The main challenge here was to simulate water. Houdini FLIP sims are slow, especially if the simulation must be done on a typical home workstation. I tried different approaches, but then I decided to separate 2 parts of water. I simulated simple water flow from the emitter, and for the main reservoir, I used a flip tank and added turbulence to simulate waves. This approach saved a lot of simulation time and disk size because I was able to control overall water height with one slider. It wasn't dense enough because I used a small amount of particles, but I tried my best to refine it on the meshing stage. Then I baked it to alembic and exported it to Unreal Engine. creative for the mobile game "5 Differences Online".
