I started this project when I was listening to Boris Brejcha's track "Purple Noise", which inspired me to do something like that. So I made different procedural noises that suit many things in motion graphics, especially glitches. I will reveal some screen but not the whole structure, but really is pretty simple.
Knowledge in noises is base of VFX and Motion Graphics, no, in the whole CG :) That's a most powerful tool to play and achieve amazing results.
Breakdown: Actually we have only a few layers of setting, and they can be modified in different ways. The main technique is to make different zones of noise look different with pixel sorter, so we need to divide colors, luminance, hue (depend on what you want) into masks, so we can control zones and grain levels for each zone. After that just play with Pixel Sorter, masks, noises, colors, effects.
